Raising Awareness
From podcasts to Instagram posts, our page advocates for women's rights and talks about the progress of feminism in the United Arab Emirates. We encourage women empowerment in the UAE
Collaboration
We collaborate with Emirati figures to discuss gender related issues and brainstorm possible solutions. We work in close contact with youth across the country to hear their voices and to work together to understand modern day feminism in the UAE.
Building A Community
But most importantly, we aim to build a community that works together to promote feminism, i.e., equality amongst the genders instead of power of one over another. We hope to continue to build a closely knit network of individuals across the country that support feminist ideals.
What is our mission?
Relaunched in May, 2022 under the new President, Girl Up UAE works towards empowering women in the UAE.
At Girl Up UAE, we are dedicated to our mission to promote gender equality, empowering women and girls, along with educating and collaborating with our community
Our vision is to have assisted the girls and women in UAE in recognizing their own power and as an organization, to have been a key leader of the feminist movement in the country
